Fan Girl

We've been annual pass holders at Disneyland for eight years, yet every time we go there is a pleasant surprise.  This time Jake and I went by ourselves (Scott and Sarah are off jeeping).  We were pretty excited to see Cars Land, but there was so much more.  SO MUCH!

Tip #1 - Get to California Adventure early and get a fast pass for Radiator Springs before they run out.  The line was two hours long for most of the day.  Your other option is to go as a single rider (which because the seats fit three in a row, there is a need for a lot of single riders.  But whatever you do - GO, because the ride is unexpectedly awesome.

No spoiler pictures of the ride - the surprise is too much fun.

Go to the pretzel and cheese cone - Num Num

Tip #2 - Go to Innoventions.  Because it was just Jake and I we were able to spend quality time in the large spinning building near Space Mountain.  We were surprised to find out that they had redone the inside.  The bottom floor is a tricked out model home of the future.  The end result was to make Jake and I long for the XBox Kinect.  Fruit Ninja.  HIYAH!!!

Solar Panel Tree House

Pirate bed!
This was in the girl's bedroom.  Wallpaper changed with a click of the mouse.
Tip #3 - Go in every storefront on Main Street and California Adventure entrance.  The biggest surprise - Starbucks is in the park.  STARBUCKS IS IN THE PARK.  Loved the cup.  Wanted to take it home.  Jake told me I shouldn't.

I went twice. :)
