Monthly Rant

Two questions: Why is it impossible to move time backward and why can we not figure out gravity? I know my opinion doesn't amount to much in the scheme of things, but personally I feel that if we figured out those two things our lives would be a lot more practical.

It is logical to think that we should be able to undo something. To just go back to the moment when it all went wrong and take the slightly different path. We can do it with knitting and writing - heck you can even do it with pens now that they have erasable ones. It is illogical to feel helpless and deal with the situation at hand. In fact, it is literally fighting against human nature to have to (or for that matter, want to) face facts.

And it is very hard for me to understand how we can manage to break an atom down into its tiniest of parts and we can't figure out how to keep our feet on the floor in space. It seems relatively simple...you just need a dense mass that you can carry with you and position somewhere beneath the floor of your spaceship. What is so hard about that?

I'm just saying.
