Powderkeg...Powderhorse...Powderhorn

Drove way out of the way to visit Powderhorn Park, which I called pretty much anything but it's proper name. There it is behind me. Lovely. Wouldn't swim in it. My Uncles suggested I stop by when I was in town because this park was where they hung out. The houses around it had a lot of history and the park was a busy, happy place.

Also drove through the Governor Mansion District of the city. Bit 'ole mansions. Great views of the river. Pretty.

Parked downtown Minneapolis and walked through Nicolette to see the pubs and shops in the busy area. This was on a huge wall next to the parking lot. Any ideas on the song?

Did not realize before how very Irish the Twin Cities are. The cathedral is beautiful to drive by. It sits on a hill and overlooks most everything. Drove past the stadium where the Vikings play and also drove past the Twins stadium. Truthfully, was a little more interested in the Covanta facility right next to one of them. Waste to energy anyone?

  2. The water was the same when we were let loose to run in that park. It was down the street from our house.
