Fan Rant

I'll be quick about it.

First - NCIS - Really? Really? Watching Tony angst away is one half of the equation. I don't identify with that half. You need Ziva in this story telling. The search for her replacement was insulting and you lost me. I used to watch the show as soon as possible and I haven't seen it for weeks. Don't miss it. Of course, I'm one of millions, so what do you care, but I'm also one of millions of women, and trust me, there were a lot of us who liked Ziva. Wanted to be bad ass like her. And you let her go.

Second - NCIS LA - Really? Seriously? Deeks and Kensi finally get together (which we'll have to take your word for it, because I guess the moment was way too special for our silly eyes to see) and you punish them by sending Kensi away? How does that make any sense? In any world? But, hey, you guys are men who make these decisions, right? Female guilt and punishment rank high in your world. Men, they can do bad things, and feel bad, but never so bad that lakes freeze over and blood runs cold. So, here's the thing. You lost me. I followed Kensi. I watched her interact with the world. If she's not in the show, who do I identify with? Sam? Callen? Deeks? Seriously. You guys suck.

Third - Supernatural - Can you get any better? This is your ninth year and you guys are killing it. The writing is soooooo good. The twists have me surprised and horrified and I can't take my eyes off it. I desperately wish you'd bring Charlie back, or Meg, or some strong female character, because I think it makes the show stronger, but it doesn't really matter. I'll keep watching. Bravo. But seriously, tonight, Kevin? I cried. So sad. I'll be in mourning for a while. (**who's the next prophet? Did Crowley kill them all?)

Finally - General Hospital - You know we have a love hate relationship. I'm currently in the hate mode, because of the whole baby storyline. But I watched the reunion of Robin and her daughter last night and cried and cried and cried. So good. Patrick's face. I could see his heart mend and break all in one moment. Nicely done, actors. Those are the moments that make me glad I've invested all these years into the show. Simple payoffs. Happy reunions. Horrible decisions.

  1. I sympathize on the ncis anti climax. And worse while trying to stay a loyal fan, our tv here in Australia have decided to go reruns mid season .... Like we wouldn't notice?? Grrrr

    1. Hate reruns. I have no patience in general, but less when I want to know what is going to happen.
