I'm trying to decide what writing course to take at UCLA. None of the options available seem to fit. There is a course taught by a writer of Farscape and I thought, DONE. But, not done. That course has prerequisites. Two of them. Both are on writing an original one hour television pilot. It might be worth it. I'm not sure how I'd behave though. I'm a huge fan of Farscape and things could turn stalkerish.
So, maybe that's not a good idea. Instead I think I might take a class on writing for animated shows. I'm hoping that includes video games. I'd love to write a video game. Not a shoot-em-up, but a puzzle based adventure with twists and turns.
I was in Chicago this week. I flew United out and American back. I haven't flown United for quite a while. Things have changed. Not sure it is for the good. American was the usual cattle transport, but the flight attendants were happier than ones I've flown with before. The security agent at O'hare entertained us with trivia while we waited. Did you know where the word 'posh' came from? Neither did I. Go here to find out. He also quizzed us on the name of the tip of shoelaces. I feel smarter.
My sister and I are planning our next adventure. Last year was Hawaii. We've decided to head to the opposite side of America this time.
